     Jennifer began taking dance over 28 years ago.  Her love for dance helped her to become a superior artist in the areas of Jazz, Tap, Ballet, and Acro.  This love and talent in dance and choreography later helped her to become a well versed instructor in multiple dance arts.
     Jennifer has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from East Tennessee State University.  While attending college she was a member of the ETSU dance team.  She later went on to become a skills instructor for the Science Hill High School dance team and also assisted in choreography for local chearleading teams.

Debbie Corpening
Lead Dance Instructor

Debbie has danced since the age of 3 and has taught dance in the Tri-City area since high school. Throughout her life she danced at local studios, studied with the Bristol Ballet Company, and took class with many top dancer/choreographers in the country in both NY and LA.  In addition to choreography and instruction at On Pointe, Debbie judges for many dance competitions nationally and all over the southeast.

Debbie has danced in numerous theatre productions and while attending college at ETSU she was a member of the Golden Girls dance team.  Her love for dance has taken her all over the world to perform with dance companies in places such as Greece, Japan, Romania, and Russia.

Throughout her years as an instructor, many of her students have gone on to dance professionally all over the U.S. including LA, Vegas, and NY.  Her students have performed on Broadway, on cruise ships, danced at Opryland, and have been members of college and NBA dance teams.

Even with these impressive accomplishments her passion has always remained with the children in the studio. Her desire is to teach them proper technique while also instilling in them a love for the stage and performing.  Dance goes way beyond the classroom walls!

Debbie grew up in Johnson City and she is married to Richard, her high school sweetheart and they have 2 children. Lindsay lives in LA and has danced professionally since 18. Brandon graduates from Mercer pharmacy school in May.  "I am so thankful and blessed to be a part of On Pointe for the past 5 years and look forward to many more."

Sarah Husky McKinney
Lead Acrobatics

Sarah began her tumbling and cheerleading career over 22 years ago.  She has an undergraduate degree in Business Finance and a Master of Arts degree in Teaching in Elementary Education from East Tennessee State University.  While attending college, Sarah was a member of the ETSU cheerleading team for 4 years.  She later went on to become the Head Varsity Cheerleading Coach at Science Hill High School.  For the past 10 years, Sarah has coached the Science Hill cheerleaders and this year has decided to teach at On Pointe!  Over the past 14 years, Sarah has taught tumbling and cheerleading skills including stunts on the UCA staff, serving as assistant coach, and then head coach for the ETSU cheerleaders.  She is also the all-star and tumbling instructor at a local gym in the Tri-Cities area.

Robin Murphy
Licensed ZUMBA Instructor

Hi, I'm Robin Murphy and I love teaching Zumba classes. The reason is simple: Every class feels like a party! Come join me and you'll see what I mean. You don't even have to know how to dance. Hannah Wilcox

Hello, I'm Hannah Wilcox and I have developed a love for Zumba. After taking classes over the past year, I decided it was my time to teach. I got licensed at the Johnson City Lifestyles Center in April 2011 and began right away. I had the opportunity to sub in May of this year and am now teaching my own classes. I have had amazing support from friends and family during this process! Zumba is for anyone that is ready to have a high energy, fun workout, and is for all ages and abilities.
