Jennifer Nipper Estep

"This is truely a dream come true for me.  I have always had a great passion for dance and it is an honor for me to be able to pass along my inspiration to my students.  Thanks to everyone who has made this dream a reality!"

     Jennifer began taking dance over 26 years ago.  Her love for dance helped her to become a superior artist in the areas of Jazz, Tap, Ballet, and Acro.  This love and talent in dance and choreography later helped her to become a well versed instructor in multiple dance arts.
     Jennifer has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from East Tennessee State University.  While attending college she was a member of the ETSU dance team.  She later went on to become a skills instructor for the Science Hill High School dance team and also assisted in choreography for local chearleading teams.

Debbie Corpening

After serious thoughts in May, 2007, of "hanging up" the old dance shoes, Debbie has decided it is too soon to retire from something she loves to do.  Debbie has danced since age 3 and taught at several studios in the Tri-City area since high school.  She has recently added judging to her resume.  Debbie has judged numerous regional and national dance competitions all over the U.S.

Her love of dance is what keeps her going and she is excited to help Jennifer in her new studio.  Debbie says, "I love children and how receptive they are to open their minds to learn and their hearts to explore what they feel.  I love to stress technique but really want to see them use class work to build confidence that can be used in all aspects of their lives.  Dance needs to be disciplined yet fun.  I want to always incorporate both into every class.  I want smiles coming in and even bigger smiles going out!!"

Debbie is a native of Johnson City.  She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Richard, for 30 years.  They have two children, Lindsay and Brandon.  Lindsay is a professional dancer/actress in LA and Brandon is a student at UT hoping to enter Pharmacy School next fall.

Sarah Smith

Sarah has over 14 years of dance training in ballet, jazz, tap, acrobatics and hip hop.  You may have seen her perform at several sporting events and local dance productions.  Sarah traveled yearly to several types of national dance conventions and competitions.  She has been an assistant dance teacher for the past 5 years and has teamed with Jennifer teaching and dancing.

Sarah was a 2007 graduate from Science Hill High School where she was also a member of the Toppers Dance Team.  She will be attending ETSU this year and is very excited and looking forward to teaching students at On Pointe.

Anna Stott ReSue
Lead Acrobatics & Hip-Hop Instructor

Anna has been with On Pointe for over 3 years as the lead instructor for Acrobatics and Hip-Hop.  She works and trains our dancers on the integration of strength, flexibility, balance, grace, and agility into their routines.  With this foundation in place, Anna continues to work with our students, assisting them in perfecting more advanced skills with a safe progression of skill learning.

Robin Murphy
Certified ZUMBA Instructor

Hi, I'm Robin Murphy and I love teaching Zumba classes. The reason is simple: Every class feels like a party! Come join me and you'll see what I mean. You don't even have to know how to dance.
